Sabine Jackson spent many years nursing in areas ranging from Emergency, Palliative Care and Surgical. Although she always loved the contact with clients and being an advocate for their care she began to feel more and more frustrated at the system that she worked in and the fragmented care people received.

Whenever someone presented with a physical condition their emotional and mental state were ignored. As though they had nothing to do with each other. If it was deemed that a patients physical symptoms were being affected by their mental /emotional state it was considered to be "all in their head" and as though it suddenly wasn't real. It became more and more evident to Sabine that the body and mind are connected and that a person isn't 'crazy' or 'putting it on' when their physical health is affected by their mental and emotional health.

It's all in your head is not an insult it's an empowering statement. It is just affirmation of the body/mind connection and the power of the mind.

In a quest to further understand the  mind, and to be able to help people with their mental and emotional wellbeing, Sabine began to study psychology. She studied to half way through an honours degree in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) when she realised that this discipline is just as limited as western medicine in that it also fragments the person's health because now the body is being ignored!

Only when we respect and listen to both the body and the mind are we genuinely providing holistic care and dealing with the whole person.

Your body is programmed at all times by your mind. If it showing you a symptom or 'disease' state it is really saying to you 'there is something off here'. By simply medicating and moving on or by feeling a victim by holding the belief that the body is in some way out to get you, that it is something you must 'fight' or learn to 'ignore' and push through, is exactly what has brought us to the disconnected feelings and epidemic 'dis-ease' states that we find ourselves in.

Sabine provides a supportive and respectful environment however genuine health and wellbeing can only be achieved when you feel empowered and take responsibility for your own health.

If you are looking for a practitioner to work with as a team.

If you are looking to obtain greater feelings of confidence and insight into your own health.

If you are looking to feel connected, empowered, at peace then we are a good match to work together.
